Iago actions towards his Wife

1. What is Iago trying to make other people think?   

   Iago complains about his wife towards Desdemona, about how useless is wife is. He uses specific statements      such as " You are a picture out of doors", which is saying she is useless. He basically is just "Slandering" his wife, as Desdemona pointed out in fifth to last line. The last line that Iago says is that, basically his wife is only useful, when she sleeps. 

2. What tactics does Iago rely on to make his victims believe him? 

    In almost every line that Iago had in that excerpt, he only talked about how useless having a wife and thats all he talked about in that excerpt. It is pretty believable since is uses such harsh terms towards his wife and Desdemona, which is believable. Though he could also be joking around about his wife, but this can go either way. 

Othello Dialogue

Ozzy is an nigerian business worker for a company and recently had gotten a promotion. His white assistant Carl is his best friend.

John who work just as hard lost his promotion to Ozzy because he's black, and has sworn to get revenge because of this. Ozzy had recently been dating the CEO's daughter of the company, and see's any opportunity to strike.

John thinks he can use Carl, his best friend, and have one another ruin each other, also having the CEO's daughter all in the middle of this.

"Hey Ozzy" says John next to the water cooler.

" Hey John, hows it going". says Ozzy

" Good, good. So Ozzy must be nice having that promotion you got recently"

" Oh ya, it's great John, got more money to pay the bills now too."

" Hahahahah"   John, sarcastic laugh

" Must also have a some money to spend on the CEO's daughter right?"

" Ya I guess I do" said Ozzy

" I heard that she was using some of that money at lunch with Carl".

" Wait, are you kidding!?!?" Said Ozzy surprisingly

" Yup, have a nice day Ozzy"

Summarize Section 2 - The Body

 

A group of four boys Gordy, Teddy, Vern, and Chris are walking along the train tracks in the woods and are walking over to the dump well to fill up they’re canteens since they had almost emptied them. They also had realized that they had not packed any food for the trip, and put all the money they had together. After seeing how much money they have, they continue on they’re journey to the dump well. Though soon Gordy put his hand on the rail to see if any trains were coming, and there was, so all of them slide down the embankment, all of them except Teddy. For some reason he wanted to see if he could dodge the train. Gordy then protest about his poor lack of judgment, and then pushes him off the tracks. Teddy and Gordy start to jawing at one another, though once the train had passed they stopped immediately. The group soon resolves the problem by talking it out, and then they get back to they’re journey. 

The main conflict that happened in this scene was the argument between Teddy and Gordy about dodging the train. The other conflict was going to the dump well, and having enough money to get something to eat.

Teddy’s motivation- Too see if he has the guts to dodge a freight train, for some odd particular reason.

Gordy’s motivation- Too get Teddy off the train tracks before he gets himself killed. He also doesn’t want engineer to see him on the tracks, and he might send a report, which may bring a police car searching for them.

Introduction about Me

Hello, my name is Andrew Page, I have been here at North Broward for 12 years, and I came here because my parents want me to get a good education, that I probably wouldn't get in public school. What I like about this school is that it has somewhat of a college atmosphere, and that it is a big campus. What I am hoping to get out of english class this year is to be able read more than I have in the past, and also to learn more about Shakespeare, since I thought Shakespeare was interesting last year. What I think the most important thing is to get out of English III this year, is to develop better writing skills, since I'm going to have to do a lot of writing to get into College later. What I like to do is play golf and also play the guitar. I play varsity golf for the school, and take advanced guitar at the school. I'm probably better at golf than I am at guitar. The picture above is the trunk of my car with my golf clubs, and shoes in the trunk. As had written early I like to play golf, and I thought that should be in the picture. Also hanging from my rear view mirror is a figure of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch( way in the background). I also like to watch NASCAR and Kyle is one of my favorite drivers. So this picture describes a little about myself, and I hope to have a good year in English III.

In the poem of "... and all that jazz" basically explains describes what West, and East egg are like. Plenty of alcohol, an abundant amount of money, and much talk about one another. In one of lines, which is my favorite "  What Prohibition?

At the Gatsby Party 
Meeting". This is basically what everybody did throughout the course of the book. There probably isn't one page that doesn't mention alcohol, or things about one another. I just like how this poet put in the Climax parts of this eye raising book, which I enjoyed about it.

What If?

1. What if your mom died, and how would've you reacted?
2. What if you didn't have your leader Katczinsky you teach the ropes of war?
3. What if your mom didn't have cancer?  
4. What if none of your friends died during the war?
5. What if you didn't enroll in the war? Paul probably would've still been in school learning 
6. What if Joseph Behm didn't go to the war, and how would've react. 
7. What if you told Kemmicrk's mom the truth about how her son died. 
8. What if you didn't have to die on a quiet day. 
9. What if you died a long slow painful death. 
10. What if you decided to flee from the war? 

Feelings Towards Your Comrades

Throughout chapters 10-12 heroism shows up from Paul in situations that involve most of his friends dying. A notable death during the book was Katczinsky, one of Paul's dearest friends and leaders. While Katczinsky was scavenging for food, he then suddenly falls to the ground. Paul then fixes his wound, and senses that his shin is busted. Paul tries to find a stretcher for Katczinky, but there isn't on to be found. He Decides to carry him on his shoulders. Though while carrying him, Katczinsky may have died on the way. It describes that " Twice we rest. He suffers acutely on the way. We do not speak much."This shows us that Katczinsky is hanging on by a thread. Paul then finally gets him to a dressing station, and reluctanly has Katzinsky saved. Though Kat suffers a splinter to the head and dies. What this shows is that is dramatic irony that Katczinsky has carried and showed the boys everything that they know about what to do in a war. Though towards the end, Paul has carried Katczinsky like Katczinsky has carried them throughout the entire war. This to shows how Paul's feelings are towards his friends that he has made during the war.
